Person-centred counselling
Counselling when life feels difficult to carry.
You don’t have to wait until things become unbearable. Sessions can help you understand what you feel, notice patterns and find a way forward that is genuinely yours.

You might recognise
Coping on the outside while something feels increasingly difficult inside.
Your mind rarely switches off
Thoughts loop, sleep is difficult, or you are always anticipating what could go wrong.
You feel emotionally exhausted
You have been dependable for a long time and no longer know what you need yourself.
Life has changed
Loss, retirement, relationships or changing roles have affected your confidence or sense of purpose.
Past experiences feel present
Something difficult still affects your relationships, emotions or view of yourself.
You feel disconnected
You are going through the motions, withdrawing from others or struggling to feel like yourself.
You want to understand yourself
There may be no single crisis; you simply want a safer place to explore honestly.
What sessions are like
You set the pace and choose what matters.
I won’t arrive with a checklist or tell you how your life should look. I listen carefully and help create the conditions in which you can explore, make connections and hear yourself more clearly.
Some sessions may feel reflective; others may involve strong emotion, silence, humour or uncertainty. All of that can belong.
You can begin with one short conversation.
Ask questions and get a sense of whether I feel like the right counsellor for you.
