Counselling in Lancaster
Face-to-face counselling in Lancaster, at your pace.
A calm, confidential relationship where adults can explore anxiety, loss, emotional exhaustion, life changes and difficult experiences without judgement.
Local, private support
A dedicated place to step out of everyday demands.
Face-to-face sessions are available in a private setting in Lancaster. The location welcomes people living or working across the city as well as those travelling from Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth, Galgate, Hest Bank, Bolton-le-Sands, Caton and nearby North Lancashire communities.
The focus remains Lancaster: these surrounding places are included to help people understand that travelling to the practice may be realistic, not to imply that Acoustic Counselling has premises elsewhere.
Reasons people get in touch
Counselling can begin before you have everything clearly defined.
Anxiety & overthinking
When your thoughts rarely stop and it is increasingly hard to feel settled.
Emotional exhaustion
When you have carried responsibility for a long time and feel depleted or disconnected.
Loss & change
Support through grief, retirement, relationship changes or a shift in identity and purpose.
A first step without pressure
Start with a free, informal conversation.
The introductory telephone call lasts up to 20 minutes. You can ask questions, briefly explain what you are looking for and decide whether working together feels right.
Individual counselling sessions last 50 minutes and cost £50.
