Emotional exhaustion & feeling depleted
Counselling when you have kept going for too long.
A calm, confidential space to understand what has left you drained, numb or disconnected—and begin listening to what you need.

When coping takes its toll
You may still be functioning, but feel as though there is very little of you left.
Emotional exhaustion can build gradually. You may have kept meeting the needs of work, family or other people while pushing your own feelings aside. From the outside you might appear capable; privately, even ordinary demands can begin to feel like too much.
This is not a personal failure. It can be a sign that you have been carrying more than is sustainable, perhaps without enough space to be supported yourself.
How it can feel
Exhaustion does not always look like stopping.
Sometimes it means continuing on automatic pilot while feeling increasingly distant from yourself.
Running on empty
Rest may not feel restorative. Concentration, patience, sleep or motivation can become harder to hold onto.
Feeling numb or distant
You may feel disconnected from people, activities or parts of yourself that would usually matter to you.
Carrying too much
Responsibility, guilt or the pressure to remain dependable can make it difficult to say no or acknowledge your limits.
How counselling may help
A relationship where you do not have to keep performing or holding everything together.
Person-centred counselling offers time to speak honestly about what has been happening and how it has affected you. I will not diagnose you, direct you or ask you to move faster than feels manageable.
Together, we can notice the pressures and patterns that have kept you going, make room for feelings that may have been set aside, and explore what a more sustainable way of living could mean for you.
